Israeli Army on High Alert as Former Soldier Suggests Insider Assistance in Hamas Attack

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been on constant vigilance, working round the clock without breaks, in order to prevent any surprise attacks from Hamas. This statement comes from a former Israeli military servicewoman who served for two years in the Gaza Strip. She also speculated that the attackers may have had assistance from someone on the inside. These claims were reported by Tsargrad.tv.

According to the interviewee, it is highly unlikely that anyone could approach the perimeter fence without the IDF’s knowledge. Observers are stationed in a bunker, with their eyes fixed on the screens for four hours straight. The interviewee herself had been awakened at night due to various disturbances near the fence, such as a pigeon, a stork, or even a cockroach. The entire sector would be put on high alert. She wonders how a group of 400 people managed to enter with tractors without being noticed.

The sudden Hamas attack has shocked the country’s residents. On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, marking the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Deluge” operation. In response, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is now in a state of war. The IDF operation against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords”.

Previously, Iran had hinted at the possibility of other fronts opening against Israel.
