Israeli Defense Forces Strike Targets in Gaza, Including Hamas Tunnels and Command Centers

In a recent statement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they conducted airstrikes on 750 targets in the Gaza Strip during the night of October 12th. The targets included underground tunnels used by Hamas, military warehouses, and posts, as well as homes of high-ranking members of the group, which the IDF claims are being used as command centers.

The IDF also reported that airstrikes were carried out on 12 multi-story buildings in Gaza, which were being used by Hamas. Additionally, a target in the Gaza Strip, used for mortar attacks on Israel, was successfully hit by Israeli airstrikes.

Prior to these strikes, the Israeli military had warned that Hamas militants, who had launched attacks on Israel over the weekend, were hiding in tunnels beneath homes and inside buildings populated by civilians in Gaza. The IDF stated that they will continue their active operations in the Gaza Strip in the coming days.
