Israeli Defense Forces Continue Strikes on Hamas Targets in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been carrying out relentless attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, according to a spokesperson for the IDF. The spokesperson stated, “Up to this day, approximately 6,000 bombs weighing 4,000 tons have been dropped on the Gaza Strip.”

On October 12th, dozens of fighter jets, attack helicopters, and Israeli army planes targeted multiple Hamas locations throughout the Gaza Strip. Strikes were carried out on the Rafiah Brigade base in the southern sector of Gaza, as well as central areas in the northern sector. The IDF claims these areas were being used as gathering points for Hamas terrorists.

As a result of these attacks, one Hamas commander and a group of activists engaged in anti-Israel activities were eliminated, the IDF added.

According to the IDF representative, over 3,600 Hamas targets have been attacked, resulting in the elimination of hundreds of terrorists. In response, Hamas claimed that their fighters had launched rockets at the Israeli military base, Raim.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had vowed to destroy Hamas. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has seen escalating tensions, with both sides engaging in retaliatory strikes. The international community continues to closely monitor the situation, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
