A married couple, Shannon and Stetson Parker, celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in Colorado, believe they have encountered the mythical creature known as Bigfoot. Shannon Parker took to Facebook to share their story, stating that while traveling on a train between Durango and Silverton, they spotted Bigfoot meandering down the side of a mountain in broad daylight. The couple was quick to react, with Shannon capturing photos and a fellow passenger recording an 18-second video.
According to Shannon, Bigfoot appeared to be at least six or seven feet tall and blended seamlessly with the mountain’s sagebrush. Their encounter has left them convinced of Bigfoot’s existence, even though they were initially uncertain before their trip. The blurry images taken from the moving train add to the collection of visual evidence that some believe supports the existence of Bigfoot.
While only a few passengers on the train witnessed the creature, Shannon mentioned that the train conductor confirmed similar sightings in the past, including footprints larger than snowshoes. The comments section on Shannon’s Facebook post showcases a mix of hilarious videos, skeptical remarks, and enthusiastic support from believers.
The legend of Bigfoot is not a new phenomenon. The Washington National Guard described the creature as a seven-foot-tall hairy being known for its presence in the woods, occasionally causing fright among campers, lumberjacks, and hikers.
