The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced in their Telegram channel about launching strikes on operational command centers of Hamas. According to the Israeli military, these strikes targeted the command centers of elite forces within the Hamas organization, whose fighters were responsible for Saturday’s attack on Israel.
The IDF statement highlighted that the Nuhba elite forces consist of terrorists handpicked by high-ranking Hamas militants, assigned to carry out terrorist attacks such as ambushes, raids, infiltrations through terrorist tunnels, as well as anti-tank rockets, missiles, and sniper fire.
In addition, IDF aircraft also targeted Muhammad Abu Shamla, a senior naval combatant of Hamas in the Rafah Brigade.
Prior to this, The Jerusalem Post reported that Israel’s Minister of Health, Moshe Arbel, officially ordered the prohibition of treating injured Hamas militants in the country’s state hospitals.
Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined Israel’s objectives in the war against Hamas.
