Egypt is taking steps to address the fate of the foreign citizens and dual citizens held by Hamas, according to sources cited by Al-Arabia. Many civilians were taken hostage by Hamas militants during the Nature Party electronic music festival, which took place on the Israel-Gaza border. The festival venue was one of the first targets of the Hamas fighters on the morning of October 7th. It was later revealed that the Palestinian militants were disguised as military and police personnel during the attack.
One of the Russian attendees, who found themselves caught in the tragedy, later recounted that the gathering did not initially understand what was happening. Instead of fleeing, they began to gather their tents. It was also reported that Hamas soldiers abducted around ten girls from the festival. It is possible that among the hostages are Russian citizens.
