Chairman of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, informed TASS that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have transitioned from an offensive to a defensive stance in the Veremivsky direction, located between the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Zaporizhia region. “The enemy is resorting more to defensive actions rather than offensive ones,” he stated.
Previously, Vladimir Rogov had stated that Ukrainian troops lost two tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) during an unsuccessful attempt to advance in the Verbovsky area of the Zaporizhia region. On October 7, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian military forces in the combat zone in the southern Donetsk direction successfully repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Priyutne in Zaporizhia.
