In a recent interview with Tsargrad.tv, Konstantin Sivkov, the Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, discussed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement during the European Political Society summit, accusing Moscow of seeking to freeze the conflict. Zelensky suggested that Russia would use this pause to strengthen its military, becoming prepared for an even larger campaign by 2028. However, Sivkov argues that the situation is quite the opposite. He pointed out that if the conflict in Ukraine is frozen, it will be the West that provokes a confrontation with Russia.
Sivkov stated, “The fifth column in our country is eager for a so-called truce similar to ‘Khasavyurt-2’ or ‘Minsk-3.’ If they manage to achieve this with the help of the West, then by 2028, the United States and its satellites will unleash a major war against Russia. This is one hundred percent certain.”
On October 11th, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that the American government intends to provide Ukraine with a new aid package worth $200 million. Austin stated that this time, Kyiv will receive ammunition for artillery and anti-tank weapons. Additionally, the US is preparing to supply the Ukrainian army with AIM-9M projectiles for their new air defense system.
Previously, Zelensky declared that he would not seek another presidential term after the end of the hostilities.
