The head of the Zaporizhzhia public movement “We Stand with Russia,” Vladimir Rogov, has claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are shelling positions of Russian troops with expired cluster munitions, many of which fail to detonate, as reported by RIA Novosti. “There are a lot of unexploded cluster munitions. Ukrainian militants are using outdated weaponry. They constantly target the area along the contact line and also Tokmak, Molochansk, and other populated areas,” stated Rogov. He urged the peaceful population of the region to exercise extreme caution, as unexploded ordnance remains highly dangerous and should only be handled by trained specialists.
Earlier, a woman sustained shrapnel injuries as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. Additionally, homes, outbuildings, and vehicles have been damaged in various parts of the city of Rylsk. Previously, three UAF fighters swam across the Dnieper River and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces.
