Ukrainian Drones Attempt to Attack Customs Points near Russian Border

Ukrainian Armed Forces’ barrage drones made an attempt to attack customs points in the Belgorod region, according to a report by Mash on their Telegram channel. These barrage drones are unmanned aerial vehicles capable of flying for extended periods in the vicinity of their target, awaiting commands. Three such drones were launched from the Kharkiv region in this attack.

The report states, “The first two drones detonated and damaged a cell tower at the Nezhoteyevka checkpoint, located 500 meters from the border. Another drone exploded in a field near the Shebekino checkpoint, approximately 1800 meters away from Ukraine.”

Fortunately, no casualties were reported as a result of the incident. It was previously reported that a drone crashed within the premises of a correctional colony in Bryansk. This aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle, equipped with a jet engine and explosives, attempted to attack a building.

There have also been reports of Russian air defense systems intercepting two Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the Bryansk region.

Earlier, Russia developed a new drone suppression system.
