US to Deploy Fighter Jets to Middle East Amid Escalation in Gaza

Amid the escalating tensions in the Gaza Strip, Washington has announced plans to send an additional 20-25 F-15 and F-35 fighter jets to the Middle East in an effort to deter Iran. Citing informed sources, American television channel CNN reported on this development. The channel emphasized that the objective of deploying these combat aircraft in the region is to prevent “Iranian aggression” and to ensure that the conflict does not spill beyond Israeli borders. The exact timeline for the arrival of the American F-15 and F-35 jets in the Middle East is currently unknown.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously stated that the country is in a state of war. Netanyahu highlighted that Hamas initiated a sudden attack on Israel and its citizens. As a result, the Israeli government has ordered the clearance of settlements from terrorists and launched a large-scale operation to mobilize reserves. Prior to this, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency within the country due to rocket attacks from the radical Palestinian movement, Hamas.
