Air alarms were declared in several regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv and Chernihiv, according to official alerts. At 23:46, the Kharkiv region was placed under a red alert on the map, followed by Chernihiv at 23:52. Sirens also sounded in areas of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Zaporizhia under Kyiv’s control. Prior to this, alarms were raised in the Poltava and Sumy regions of Ukraine. Cherkasy and Kyiv regions were also affected. The sirens ceased at 00:22 on Monday, and no further incident reports were received.
On October 7, explosions occurred in the Nikolaev region. According to the city mayor, Alexander Senkevich, loud sounds were heard in some areas of the city. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and he urged local residents to exercise maximum caution and not ignore alarm signals.
Air alarms were also declared in the Odessa region. Additionally, “Suspilne” reported explosions in Mirgorod, Poltava region.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine disclosed the amount of military assistance received since February 2022.
