In the past 24 hours, Russian military forces in the combat zone on the South Donetsk direction have successfully repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the town of Pryutne in the Zaporizhia region. This information was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense in their official Telegram channel.
It is known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost six units of equipment on the South Donetsk direction. “The units of the ‘Vostok’ task force repelled three attacks by assault groups from the 127th and 128th Territorial Defense Brigades in the area of Pryutne, Zaporizhia region,” explained the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, Russian strike aviation carried out strikes on the manpower and equipment of the 58th Motorized Infantry and 79th Air Assault Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Urozhainoe and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Russian Ministry of Defense added that the Ukrainian side lost up to 225 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in the specified direction over the course of the day.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Russian forces had thwarted two attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to advance on the South Donetsk direction. The “Vostok” units, with artillery support, intercepted these two attempts.
Earlier in the United States, the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive was acknowledged.
