In a recent operation on Israeli territory, the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas has claimed to have captured approximately 35 Israeli soldiers and settlers, as reported by Al-Hadath TV channel. The publication states that the “Brigades of al-Qassam” have taken the Israeli captives and transported them to the Gaza Strip.
Prior to this, Hamas released footage showing its members infiltrating an Israeli community near the border with Gaza. On October 7th, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson announced that terrorists from the Gaza Strip had penetrated Israel’s border areas following a massive rocket bombardment from the enclave.
Hamas militants launched rockets at Israeli cities near the border and even targeted areas in Tel Aviv. Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, stated that the Palestinian radical Islamist movement had declared war on his country. In response, Israel has initiated a mass mobilization of reserves.
It is worth noting that Egypt and Syria had previously nearly destroyed Israel on Judgment Day, according to recent reports.
