Russian forces, with the assistance of combat aircraft and artillery, successfully repelled two attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Krasnogorovka and Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported this development. Additionally, Russian military units inflicted damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ personnel and equipment in the areas of Novomykhailivka in the DNR. Within 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 210 servicemen, along with four combat and armored vehicles, and six automobiles.
During the counter-battery operation, the artillery system M-777 of American production, as well as the self-propelled artillery units “Akatsiya” and “Gvozdika,” and the howitzer D-20, were successfully targeted. On October 4, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered losses of up to 165 soldiers in the Donetsk region. Furthermore, a munitions depot belonging to the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian army was destroyed in the area of Konstantinovka in the DNR.
