Infrastructure Damaged in Ukraine as Russian Attacks Escalate

In the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine, an infrastructure object has been damaged as a result of overnight strikes, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces. The report highlights that the resulting fire was quickly contained.

The Ukrainian television channel “Obshchestvennoye” reported that explosions occurred in the cities of Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad region) and Myrhorod (Poltava region) in Ukraine on the night of October 5. There were also reports of explosions in the Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine.

Since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have begun targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. As stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication across the entire territory of Ukraine.

Earlier, a fighter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces expressed confusion about the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
