The head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, has announced in his Telegram channel that punishment awaits anyone who violates their borders. “One of the saboteurs has been captured and is already providing confessions. Every violator of our borders will face inevitable punishment,” the message stated.
On October 4th, the FSB’s Center for Public Relations reported an unsuccessful attempt by Ukrainian saboteurs to cross the border and enter the territory of Crimea. According to the agency, the intruders were detected in the area of Cape Tarkhankut on a high-speed boat and three jet skis.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the members of the sabotage group intended to engage in photo and video surveillance. Their plan was to take several pictures with their country’s flag on the territory of the republic.
Subsequently, footage of the interrogation of one of the captured members of the Ukrainian sabotage group surfaced online. The man revealed that the group consisted of 16 individuals.
Earlier, Ukraine outlined its conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
