Air Raid Sirens Sound in Multiple Regions of Ukraine as Russian Attacks Continue

Air raid sirens were sounded in five regions of Ukraine on the morning of October 4th, according to Ukrainian publication Klymenko Time. The sirens were heard in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions. Additionally, air raid alerts were declared in parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, as well as in the territories controlled by the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.

During the night of October 4th, an air raid alert was also triggered in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. Furthermore, authorities in the Dnipropetrovsk region reported damage to power lines as a result of an explosion.

Starting from October 10th, 2022, two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raid alerts have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication facilities throughout the republic.

Previously, Ukraine had outlined the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
