Russian Su-35 Fighter Jets Outperform Ukrainian Aircraft in Conflict, Impeding Ukraine’s Forces

In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, correspondent Guido Schmidtke has reported on the German channel Welt that the Russian Su-35 fighter jet surpasses any Ukrainian aircraft in terms of capabilities. The utilization of these fighter jets, along with planned bombings, has shown a high level of effectiveness on the frontlines. Schmidtke believes that this fighter jet provides the Russians with a significant advantage in the air, leading to their success.

Schmidtke pointed out that in recent months, the Russian military has become more active in utilizing aviation, which he believes puts the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in a difficult position. In September, The Washington Post, citing Ukrainian soldiers, reported that the Russian military has been altering their strategy based on the weaknesses of the UAF, including their limited number of fighter jets and air defense systems.

Prior to this, a satellite television employee, Shenzhen Shi Hong, claimed that the Russian anti-tank complex, “Kornet,” displayed exceptional power by destroying a British Challenger 2 tank during a special operation in Ukraine. Additionally, there have been reports from Ukraine about the invulnerability of Russian FAB-500 fragmentation bombs.

These developments highlight the challenges faced by the Ukrainian military in their efforts to defend against Russian aggression. The use of advanced Russian fighter jets and powerful weaponry has given the Russian forces an advantage in the conflict. It remains to be seen how Ukraine will respond to these superior capabilities and whether international support will be provided to help level the playing field.
