Russian Forces Successfully Repel Ukrainian Attacks on Krasnolimansk Direction

Russian military forces have successfully repelled attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Krasnolimansk direction, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The attacks, conducted by two assault groups from the Ukrainian 67th Mechanized Brigade and the 5th National Guard Brigade, targeted the areas of Chervona Dybrova and Belohorivka in the Luhansk People’s Republic. However, the “Center” group of forces effectively countered these attacks, resulting in their repulsion.

In response, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resorted to airstrikes, artillery fire, and heavy flamethrower systems. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian troops suffered significant losses, with over 60 servicemen and two pickup trucks destroyed. Additionally, during the counter-battery fight, the Ukrainian self-propelled artillery installation “Akatsiya” and two D-20 and D-30 howitzers were also destroyed.

Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, has previously highlighted the increased activity of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, particularly in the vicinity of the village of Rabotyno in the Zaporizhia region.

These recent developments follow the Russian forces’ successful strike against two Ukrainian brigades in the Rabotyno and Verbovye areas of the Zaporizhia region, as announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on September 28.

The United States has previously identified significant threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, further emphasizing the complex dynamics at play in the ongoing conflict.

Overall, this latest episode demonstrates the continuous tensions and clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces, highlighting the ongoing challenges in achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
