The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, has warned that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) may launch a new offensive against Russian troops in October. Speaking on the television channel “Russia 24,” Pushilin stated that there has been a buildup of UAF forces and a transfer of their reserves on the Orehovsk and UgleDar fronts in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). These reserves are being formed at a certain distance from the front line. According to Pushilin, it appears that the Ukrainian command is preparing for further active actions. “We see that such thoughts exist, so we do not exclude the possibility of a new offensive,” said the head of the DPR.
Last week, Pushilin stated that the Russian Armed Forces had improved their positions in the Serebryansky forestry area on the Krasnolimansk front, where the special operation is being conducted. On September 26, Pushilin also mentioned the arrival of additional Ukrainian forces on the Krasnolimansk front.
Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed confusion about the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
