In a recent development, the Ukrainian city of Kherson, which is under the control of Kiev, has been struck near a transportation infrastructure facility. This information was revealed by Sergei Bratchuk, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian volunteer army “Yug”, and was reported by the Telegram channel of the publication “Strana.ua”. There were reports of explosions in Kherson during the night and morning of October 2nd, as highlighted by Ukrainian media and authorities in the Kherson region.
Natalia Humenyuk, the press secretary of the Ukrainian “Yug” defense forces, previously stated on the “Rada” television channel that critical infrastructure objects were damaged during the night. According to her, some agricultural plants in the Kherson region, which is under Kiev’s control, were affected. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the regional military administration, also mentioned that buildings of an agro-industrial enterprise were damaged after the explosions in the Kharkiv region.
It is worth noting that Russia recently developed a new system to counter drones.
