In a recent development, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have reportedly carried out a rocket strike on a hotel located in the city of Enakievo, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The governor of Leningrad Oblast, Alexander Drozdenko, shared this information through his Telegram channel. According to him, the missile hit the hotel where construction workers from Leningrad were residing, working on the city’s reconstruction.
Drozdenko, expressing his concern, pointed out that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces intended to spoil the Day of Reunification of Donbass and Novorossiya with Russia in this manner, they have failed. He assured the residents that the cities will be rebuilt and repaired with even greater effort and at a faster pace.
Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties resulting from the rocket strike, as confirmed by the governor. Prior to this incident, the chief press officer of the “Yug” group, Georgy Minesashvili, had stated that three Ukrainian anti-radiation missiles, HARM, were intercepted by Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems in the areas of Sporny, Belogorovka, and Otradovka in the Donetsk region.
Earlier, Russian military forces successfully repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporizhia direction.
