In a recent incident, Ukrainian divers attempted to infiltrate the Bryansk region in Russia, but were thwarted by Russian border guards. According to a report from Telegram channel Shot, citing a source, a group of 10 individuals armed with rifles was spotted near the village of Lugovoy in the Klimovsky district. The report states that the divers opened fire with artillery before advancing. However, Russian forces managed to repel the group, injuring some of its members.
This comes after the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ reconnaissance group, which was preparing to cross the Dnieper River in the Kherson region, was reportedly destroyed by Russian military personnel, as previously reported by TASS news agency, citing a representative of the operational services in the Kherson region.
On September 28, Shot reported that a Ukrainian divers group attempted to break into the Belgorod region. On September 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had neutralized a Ukrainian divers and reconnaissance group on Pereyaslavsky Island in the Kherson region.
It is worth noting that the United States recently acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
