The village of Gogolevka in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region has come under shelling from Ukraine, resulting in several buildings being damaged. This was reported by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, in his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, the former school building was seriously damaged as a result of the shelling. In addition, fragments of the projectile damaged the power supply line and the water tower. Windows were shattered and facades were damaged in four residential buildings and a medical center.
Fortunately, no residents were injured, emphasized Starovoit, who also added that repair work will be undertaken by specialists once it is safe to do so.
Earlier on September 29, Anastasia Rubanova, the press secretary of the governor of the Kursk region, reported that children were evacuated from a school in Kursk after an unmanned aerial vehicle was found on a tree.
