In a recent development, Russian forces successfully repelled six attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the Avdiivka, Artemivsk, and Lysychansk directions. Georgiy Minesashvili, the head of the press center for the “South” group, confirmed this information to RIA Novosti. He stated, “The aviation of the group destroyed temporary deployment points and accumulations of weapons and military equipment in the areas of Avdiivka, Severodonetsk, Dzerzhynsk, and Fedorivka.”
Furthermore, Minesashvili added that Ukrainian forces’ personnel and military equipment were also targeted and hit in 20 different areas. On September 23rd, Minesashvili previously reported that Russian heavy flamethrower systems, known as “Solntsepek,” struck Ukrainian servicemen in the Donetsk direction. He mentioned that the strike was carried out in Krasnohorivka, Klyshevka, and Malo-Ilyinivka.
Prior to this, the head of the Russian group’s press center had announced the destruction of nine pieces of Ukrainian army combat equipment in the Donetsk People’s Republic. He also mentioned the destruction of a command post and a drone control point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Avdiivka.
Earlier, in the United States, one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was identified.
