Russian Armed Forces have successfully repelled two attacks by Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past 24 hours, according to the official summary from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The clashes took place near Pervomaiskoye and Veseloye, resulting in significant losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), with up to 190 servicemen killed. The ‘Southern’ group of forces, with support from aviation and artillery, successfully repelled the assault groups from the 53rd and 110th mechanized brigades of the UAF in the Donetsk direction. Furthermore, a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down over the DPR, and Russian air defense systems intercepted HIMARS and “Ol’kha” projectiles. Additionally, 26 Ukrainian drones were eliminated in the DPR and Zaporizhia region. This comes after Russian soldiers previously destroyed a UAF assault group near Kleshcheevka in Donetsk.
