In a recent incident in the Belgorod region, a Ukrainian drone launched a kamikaze-style attack on a local communication facility. The governor of the Russian region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, shared this information through his Telegram channel. The targeted facility is located in the village of Murov in the Shebekino urban district. Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene of the incident.
Governor Gladkov also reported that a woman, who was a passenger in a car, was injured during the shelling of the city of Shebekino. As a result of the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, eight private residences, four vehicles, and a local power transmission line were damaged in the village.
On the afternoon of September 25th, the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in Belgorod also came under fire from Ukrainian forces. According to Governor Gladkov, a direct hit on one of the private residential houses was recorded.
Earlier, a new drone suppression system was developed in Russia to counter such attacks. This incident highlights the ongoing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the impact on civilian infrastructure and lives.
