In response to the recent rocket strike on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), a retired military expert, Colonel Mikhail Timoshenko, has suggested launching counterattacks on the enemy’s logistics. Speaking on Tsargrad.tv, he emphasized that targeting bridges and infrastructure would be a significant blow to the UAF, as it would hinder the transportation of equipment and supplies to Ukrainian military locations. Timoshenko also highlighted the previous destruction of bridges over the Oskol and Zherebets rivers near Kupyansk, which had already complicated UAF logistics.
“Ukrainians immediately faced problems when those overpasses were destroyed. But what if we knock down a couple more bridges across the Dnieper? It will cause a great uproar. However, it’s not an easy task to destroy a bridge with a missile,” Timoshenko noted.
Regarding preventive measures, Timoshenko stressed the importance of strengthening the air defense system. He believes that a meticulous approach to building anti-aircraft defenses is necessary.
