Shocking Murder Arrest: Illegal Immigrant from Peru Charged in Texas Homicide

A train carrying migrants from Mexico to the U.S. southern border made a stop in Monclova. In a shocking turn of events, an illegal immigrant from Peru has been charged with murder after being arrested by police in Texas. Roberto Emilio Vasquez-Santamaria, a 64-year-old man, was taken into custody by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a homicide that occurred in Eagle Pass on Monday. It is worth noting that Vasquez-Santamaria is an illegal migrant from Peru who entered the U.S. in May.

According to sources within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, it has been discovered that Vasquez-Santamaria crossed into Texas illegally in May and was released into the U.S. with a court date set for 2025. It is quite baffling that he was even allowed to enter the country in the first place. After promising, in writing, to show up for upcoming court proceedings, he was processed by Border Patrol and then transferred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). However, shockingly, ICE allegedly released him to a non-government agency (NGO) in Eagle Pass.

Law enforcement has not provided any information about the victim and whether he is a U.S. citizen. It is concerning that U.S. Customs and Border Protection has not responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on this matter.
