Fashion Fiasco: Karl Rove Fires Back at Senate’s Controversial Dress Code Change Amidst Fetterman’s Wardrobe War

FOX News contributor Karl Rove responds to the Senate’s decision to relax its dress code to accommodate Democratic Senator John Fetterman’s questionable fashion choices. Fetterman recently attacked journalist Nate Silver, who defended his wardrobe, leaving social media users baffled. Silver had taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to defend Fetterman against critics of his hoodies and gym shorts. In response, Fetterman insulted Silver, remarking on his own dressing habits. The incident garnered criticism from conservatives, with former President Donald Trump’s senior adviser Stephen Miller calling Fetterman an “emotionally stunted man-child.” The Senate’s decision to drop the dress code was also met with disapproval, with conservatives accusing Fetterman of being the reason behind the change. Fetterman, known for voting from the doorway or side entrance to bypass the dress code, has regularly flouted the rules and worn casual attire in the Senate building. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called the Senate’s decision “disgraceful,” while Rep. Ryan Zinke argued that if interns can wear suits, so can a U.S. Senator.
