Combs Siblings Denounce Fake Memoir, Defend Late Mother Kim Porter

Following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest on sex crimes charges, his children have publicly condemned the “horrific conspiracy theories” surrounding their late mother Kim Porter – the former model and hip-hop mogul’s ex. In a joint statement shared on Instagram, Quincy Brown and Christian, Jessie and D’Lila Combs expressed their anger at the false rumors circulating about their parents and mother’s tragic death in 2018. The siblings dismissed claims that Porter wrote a memoir before her passing, insisting that such a book does not exist.

Porter and Combs dated on and off from 1994 to 2007, during which time they had three children together: Christian (now 26) and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila (now 17. Porter had her first child, Quincy (33), with singer Al B. Sure! Combs later adopted him when he was just three years old.

The siblings’ statement comes after the publication of a self-described investigative journalist’s typo-ridden memoir that claims to have been written by Porter before her death. The 59-page book, which is available on Amazon under a pseudonym, has reached the number one spot in the online retailer’s Best Sellers list and costs $25 to purchase. Its author told Rolling Stone magazine he wasn’t sure if it was real.

The memoir, titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…” has sparked further suspicions and conspiracy theories about Porter’s untimely death at age 47 due to lobar pneumonia. The siblings firmly refuted these rumors, stating that their mother’s cause of death is well-established and there was no foul play involved.

They also criticized those spreading the rumors about Porter: “We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives,” the siblings wrote, urging people to remember their mother for who she truly was – a beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman.

While the children did not comment on the charges faced by their father, Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested last week and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty but was denied bail for charges stemming from alleged sex abuse at the height of his career in the 1990s and early 2000s.
