Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.

Vice President Harris expressed her gratitude to Diddy for always finding a way to bring people together, while Van Jones highlighted the rapper’s passion and love for the survival, success, growth, and thriving of the black community. Al Sharpton also joined in, praising Diddy for standing the gap as a cultural icon.

The town hall focused on how alleged racism had impacted black Americans during the pandemic, leading to higher coronavirus mortality rates. Participants discussed various issues, including claims that black people were being denied ventilators due to their race. Diddy concluded the call by thanking “Camilla Harris” and expressing hope for a pandemic of love.

Before his legal troubles, Combs had been an influential figure in American culture and Democratic politics. His group Citizen Change had helped promote voter turnout during the 2004 and 2008 presidential campaigns with the catch-phrase “Vote or Die.
