Oprah Winfrey responded to Harris’ speech with a simple “Hmm” and a poker face. Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt shared a clip of the monologue on social media, sarcastically comparing Harris to the characters in the movie “Bill & Ted,” calling it an “epic word salad.
