A major US Catholic advocacy group is launching an ad campaign criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris for her support of publicly funded sex-change surgeries for minors. The significant six-figure ads will commence airing on Monday in four critical swing states – Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada and Michigan – targeting Catholic voters as well as households with children.
The ads, obtained exclusively by The Post, quote Medicaid data that reveals the number of sex-change surgeries performed on minors within each state. These statistics are used to highlight the severity of these procedures in the advertisements.
Just in: Medicaid data shows [97 in PA; 86 in WI; 18 in NV; 35 in MI] underage girls had their breasts completely removed,” the ads initiate, referencing one of the figures depending on which state the advertisement is aired in.
14 in PA; 12 in WI; 3 in NV; 7 in MI] underage girls underwent hysterectomies. Sex change operations attempting to make young boys into girls. Penis amputations.” The narrator in the ads continues, “Sound weird? Disgusting.
It is. And you’re paying for it,” referring to Kamala Harris’s support of these taxpayer-funded sex-change operations. The ad suggests that a vote for Harris equates to voting for medical experiments on children.
The recent position taken by the Harris-Biden administration reaffirms their stance on allowing minors to undergo transgender surgery – on the taxpayers’ dime – as long as parental and doctoral approval is met. The administration argues that while these surgeries are typically reserved for adults, they should not prevent children from receiving life-altering procedures if certain conditions are met.
Neera Tanden, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, expressed in an email obtained by The Advocate, “We continue to fight state and national bans on gender-affirming care, which represents a continuum of care, and respect the role of parents, families and doctors – not politicians – in these decisions.
Harris has yet to express any differing campaign policies regarding transgender surgeries since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.
Most people have no idea of the size, scope and money involved in the trans agenda being pushed on our kids,” Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, told The Post. Talk about weird: Physically healthy boys and girls are having their genitals and sexual organs destroyed, and Kamala Harris and her Democratic allies in the Senate not only think that’s acceptable but are forcing taxpayers to pay for it.
The Vatican issued a document in April outlining the Catholic Church’s stance on sex-change surgeries. The “Infinite Dignity” document argues that these surgeries go against the dignity of the person, stating, “It follows that any sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks threatening the unique dignity the person has received from the moment of conception.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out, Harris’s campaign has not responded to The Post’s inquiry.
