Trump Unveils Federal Task Force Against Foreign Gangs: Tackling ‘Tren de Aragua

Former President Donald Trump announced on Friday that if elected, he would establish a federal task force aimed at eliminating foreign gangs such as the ruthless Venezuelan prison gang, Tren de Aragua, which has reportedly overrun several apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado since expanding its reach in the United States amid the surge in illegal immigration.

Taking note of the significant presence of this organized crime syndicate during a Las Vegas rally, Trump expressed his disbelief at how such a situation could be allowed to occur in America and proposed his plan to combat Tren de Aragua. Upon returning to the White House, Trump stated that he would launch a special task force composed of elite federal law enforcement personnel, with the goal of crushing every foreign gang and organized crime network operating within the country.

Trump’s plan involves deploying ICE, DHS, and other federal officials to “liberate Aurora” by going in and dismantling the gang’s operations. Cops in Aurora have recently arrested ten confirmed members of Tren de Aragua who had been using blighted apartment complexes as their home base while terrorizing residents with gun crime, theft, and drug dealing.

Despite the actions taken by law enforcement, some officials argue that Tren de Aragua has not “taken over” Aurora, but rather significantly affected certain properties within the city. However, Trump remains adamant that the gang’s presence in Colorado is unacceptable and vows to address it if re-elected as President.
