Elite Drug Ring: Affluent Clients, Mercedes Cars, and Big Money

A high-end drug delivery service operating from Brooklyn to Montauk was run by a duo who supplied cocaine and MDMA to affluent clients willing to pay three times the street price for their fix, according to prosecutors. Alexandr Dyatchin and Michael Khodorkovsky used Mercedes cars fitted with hidden compartments (traps) for drug smuggling purposes. They were arrested in August after an undercover investigation that included drug sales near Khodorkovsky’s apartment. At the time of his arrest, Khodorkovsky had a kilo-and-a-half of cocaine along with coke and pills stashed in his car’s traps. He also had $38,550 cash and 39 gold coins valued at $100,000 in his Brooklyn apartment. Dyatchin was found to have rented an East Hampton home filled with 589 grams of cocaine divided into nearly twice as many individual packages, and a Mercedes car containing over 50 envelopes of cocaine. Both men owned a Mercedes and worked as private rideshare and Uber drivers. The two were arraigned and held on $2 million cash bonds. This case is one among five high-profile drug- and gun-trafficking cases highlighted by Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney during a news conference, which together have yielded 39 indictments and 389 criminal counts.
