Ronny Jackson Clarifies Facts Surrounding Trump’s Assassination Attempt: No Shrapnel or Glass; Just a Bullet

The Former White House Doctor and Current Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson have recently treated former President Donald Trump after the attack on him in Butler, Pennsylvania. Following FBI Director Christopher Wray’s insinuations about the nature of the injury during a hearing before Congress, Jackson posted a letter on X, formerly Twitter, to set the record straight about the incident and the former president’s condition.

As the former Physician to the President for President Donald J. Trump, I have continued to monitor his health and well-being, along with his primary care physician, since the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on the evening of July 13th,” Jackson stated. He then recounted that a would-be assassin fired multiple rounds from a high-powered rifle at close range, with one bullet striking Trump in his right ear.

Dr. Jackson, who has over 20 years of experience as an Emergency Medicine physician in the United States Navy, including time spent as a combat physician on the battlefield in Iraq, stated that he reviewed President Trump’s medical records from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was initially evaluated and treated for a “Gunshot Wound to the Right Ear.” Based on his direct observations of the injury, clinical background, and significant experience evaluating and treating patients with similar wounds, Jackson completely concurred with the initial assessment and treatment provided by the doctors and nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital on the day of the shooting.

During the Congressional Hearing two days prior to the letter’s publication, FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could have been a bullet, shrapnel, or glass. However, Jackson stated there is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet and called on Congress to correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and himself. He also dismissed any suggestions that the wound may have resulted from something else, such as shrapnel or glass, as inaccurate and wrong.

As a former White House Physician for 14 years who served during three presidential administrations and was appointed physician for both President Obama and President Trump, Jackson fully understands the global significance of this attempted assassination on the life of the former president and current Republican nominee for president. He assured the American people and the rest of the world that President Trump is doing extremely well and recovering rapidly from the gunshot wound to his right ear.

When FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke about the former president’s injury as if what he was struck by remained unknown, Jackson appeared on Fox Business with host Larry Kudlow, stating, “This is absolutely ridiculous that he would make a comment like this.” He explained that the bullet was fired from the deceased subject’s rifle and that it caused significant swelling and damage to Trump’s ear.

In conclusion, Dr. Ronny Jackson has reassured the public about former President Donald Trump’s health following the recent assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. The FBI later confirmed that the injury was caused by a bullet fired from a rifle at close range, refuting any suggestions otherwise.
