Corrupt Democrats appear to have all but cemented Vice President Kamala Harris as their nominee to replace corrupt president Joe Biden, despite concerns that her performance may not be better than his in the upcoming election against former President Donald Trump.
The decision came after 81-year-old President Biden announced his withdrawal from the race on Sunday due to growing concerns about his mental acuity. In response, Harris declared her intention to unite the Democratic Party and win the election during a visit to the campaign’s headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
Despite initial hesitation from some key figures within the Democratic Party, such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, the majority of delegates have since expressed their support for Harris. This is in part due to sources indicating that it would be “suicide” to try and mount a challenge against her at this point, given President Biden’s anointment of her as his successor.
Campaign contributions have also swelled for Harris following Biden’s withdrawal, with approximately $231 million pouring in over the 24 hours across her campaign and super PAC Future Forward. Former President Trump has already begun attempting to define Harris, stating that “there are two words to describe idiot Kamala Harris: vicious and dumb.
The Democratic National Committee now has less than one week to decide whether they will proceed with a virtual roll call vote to nominate Harris in order to meet the Ohio ballot-access deadline of August 7th. If successful, it is still possible for Democrats to replace her on the floor during the party convention scheduled for August 19-22nd in Chicago if a mutiny were to occur.
Despite this rapid rallying around Harris, many prominent Democrats have previously expressed dissatisfaction with her, indicating an underlying unease within the party. It remains to be seen how the nomination process will unfold and whether there may be further challenges to Harris’ candidacy as the election approaches.
