Trump Base Revitalized by Rallies and MAGA Merchandise

Despite the conviction of former President Donald Trump in his Manhattan trial, the outcome has not gone as planned for Democrats. The verdicts did not appear to affect polling numbers, and in fact, Trump reportedly raised over $53 million in what may be one of the most significant backfires in American political history.

Karoline Leavitt, the national press secretary for Trump’s campaign, spoke with Breitbart News, calling the trial a “witch hunt.” She said, “It is unprecedented. It’s historic. And it’s epic. President Trump raised more money in 24 hours than the Democrats raised last month in its entirety — and the Biden campaign.

We actually raised more than $34 million in just six hours after the verdict — from the verdict to midnight,” Leavitt stated, as reported by Breitbart News. She added that the Democrats hoped the trial and conviction would be the end of Trump but have been proven wrong. Americans see this for what it is: a show trial led by crooked Joe Biden, the Democrat establishment, and a Democrat prosecutor, Alvin Bragg. The case was overseen by a conflicted partisan judge, she said.

This thing was rigged from the beginning. Americans know it, and that’s why people are fired up to support President Trump more than ever before,” Leavitt explained.

She noted that there has been a palpable shift of momentum and energy towards Trump right now. Enthusiasm for President Trump and the MAGA movement is greater than it’s ever been before, and we are laser-focused on getting back on the campaign trail and bringing President Trump’s winning message to every corner of this country,” she said.

The ultimate victory is going to come on November 5th.

Following his felony conviction, WinRed, the payment processor for Republican campaign donations, crashed, with Trump’s campaign attributing the crash to the high number of people trying to donate in the immediate aftermath of the verdict. The New York Times reported that Trump’s campaign website directed donors to Anedot, another fundraising platform used by various GOP campaigns.

Trump campaign spokesman Brian Hughes told Fox News, “From just minutes after the verdict, the digital fundraising system has been hit with record numbers of supporters. The traffic is so large that it is causing intermittent delays. The campaign is grateful for this massive outpouring of support because it shows that Americans have seen this sham trial as the political election interference that Biden and Democrats have always intended.

While the Times report did not mention it, President Joe Biden’s campaign also quickly tried to capitalize on the guilty verdict. Despite a jury finding Donald Trump guilty today, there is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: At the ballot box,” the Biden campaign wrote in a fundraising text to supporters.

The text further urged that “if you have been waiting for the perfect time to make your first donation to Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, we’re here to tell you today is the day.
