Biden’s alleged racial remarks cause global uproar

President Joe Biden has recently come under fire for a comment made during a gathering with Kenyan President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto, leading some to accuse him of racism. When speaking about the presence of African diaspora members at the event, he mentioned former President Barack Obama, saying “One just left, Barack.” This remark sparked outrage on social media, with many criticizing it as an example of Biden’s history of making racially charged comments.

The Heritage Foundation highlighted that this is not the first time Joe Biden has been accused of being a race-baiter, pointing to past instances when he made insensitive remarks about African Americans and other minorities. Some Republicans have capitalized on these incidents in an attempt to shift minority voters away from Democrats towards their party.

The situation becomes even more precarious for President Biden as he faces growing discontent among black voters due to the negative impacts of his economic policies, commonly referred to as “Bidenomics.” The Washington Examiner reported on a recent poll revealing that many people of all races, and especially younger voters, are struggling with food insecurity under the current administration. This is particularly concerning for Democrats, as African American voters have historically been a reliable voting bloc for the party, but their support has waned in recent years.

According to Zogby Analytics, 14 percent of respondents reported going at least one day without food in April. The study found that younger black and Hispanic voters were most affected by food insecurity under Bidenomics, with nearly five times as many African Americans aged 18-24 experiencing it compared to those aged 55-69. Rural African Americans were also more likely to face food insecurity than their urban or suburban counterparts.

These alarming statistics suggest that President Joe Biden’s attempts to court minority voters may be backfiring, as they grapple with the harsh realities of life under his administration’s economic policies. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for him to maintain support from these crucial demographics and ensure their continued loyalty to the Democratic Party.
