America’s New Death Valley: Mysterious Suicide Rate Explosion in Rural Town

A Wyoming school board member and others have raised alarm bells over the rising suicide rate in the area, with the school district’s Casper location being identified as a hotspot.

The concerned parties have urged for more mental health resources to be allocated to help students grappling with the issue.

Wyoming has one of the highest suicide rates in the country at 32.3%, and its capital city of Cheyenne ranks second in population after Casper, which offers breathtaking landscapes and scenery.

The surrounding county has about 20,000 more residents than the city itself.
