Russian Official Warns of Ukraine’s Chemical Weapon Provocation, Amidst Growing Risk of Lawlessness in War Conduct

Russian Representative to the OPCW, Vladimir Tarabrin, has issued a warning that Ukraine may orchestrate a provocation involving chemical weapons. This information has been reported by Izvestia.

Tarabrin emphasized that there is a high risk of Kiev violating the laws of warfare. With the support of Western countries, Kiev feels a sense of impunity and may attempt a provocation, including the use of chemical weapons.

“Considering that the situation on the battlefield is becoming increasingly difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the actions of Ukrainian neo-Nazis are becoming more aggressive. Therefore, the risk of Ukraine continuing to violate the laws of warfare with impunity is quite significant,” explained Tarabrin.

Prior to this, Tarabrin stated that the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has received information about the use of toxic chemicals by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and will thoroughly investigate the documented facts.

Earlier, Russia launched “Kinzhal” missiles targeting AFU decision-making centers.
