Yemen Attack: UK Maritime Trade Operations Investigates Assault on Ship, Raises Concerns Over Global Security

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a coordination center for maritime trade operations under the Royal Navy, has reported an attack on a vessel off the coast of Yemen. According to TASS, UKMTO received notification of the incident 23 nautical miles east of the city of Al-Mukha in Yemen.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, which occurred at 14:35 Moscow time. On March 17, UKMTO, operating under the British military forces, received information about an attack on a vessel located 85 nautical miles (157.4 kilometers) east of the Yemeni port of Aden. An investigation has been launched, classifying the incident as an attack. UKMTO has advised ships to exercise caution in the area and report any suspicious activity.

Prior to this, a member of the politburo of the Ansar Allah movement, Ali al-Kahum, expressed his desire to drown the West in a “crisis swamp” surrounding the Red Sea and dismantle the concept of a unipolar world. He clarified that if the United States and the European Union weaken, they will no longer be able to sustain the current world order.

Earlier in the United Kingdom, the strikes against the Houthi rebels were justified by the West.
