Russian Paratroopers’ Air Defense Units (ADU) of the “Dnepr” troop grouping have destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to RIA Novosti.

“The ADU calculations of the Russian paratroopers, using the ‘Verba’ man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) and the ‘Strela-10’ surface-to-air missile systems (SAM), destroyed three Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs, including the Valkyria, Fury, and Leleka-100 drones. Temporary and main launch positions were used by the Airborne Troops (VDV) fighters for missile launches,” the Russian defense department noted.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian UAVs of aircraft type over four regions of the Russian Federation on the night of March 23.
