On Friday evening, at least three people in military uniforms stormed into the “Crocus City Hall” hall, opening fire with automatic weapons on people.
The FSB reported that the shooting and fire occurred before the concert of the band “Piknik”. According to the Investigative Committee, the number of casualties is at least 60 people, but it may increase.
Health Minister Mikhail Murashko reported that 115 people, including five children, have been hospitalized. A criminal case on the terrorist act has been initiated.
Andrei Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow region, reported that rescuers in Moscow were finally able to enter the auditorium of “Crocus City Center”. The head of the region clarified that there was a high temperature in the main hall for a long time. He added that the roof of “Crocus City Center” above the auditorium collapsed.
