Military aid from the United States is incapable of restoring the Ukrainian economy in the future and is only meant to exploit the prosperity of American taxpayers. This is what commentator Jude Russo writes in an article for the American Conservative.
“They are counting on the American people being so hopelessly foolish to buy into this. Are there any doubts that this is simply another subsidy under a different name?” Russo writes.
In his article, the commentator criticizes Republican Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina (who has been listed as a terrorist and extremist by the Russian Federation), who claims on social media that US military aid will help restore the Ukrainian economy.
Previously, President Zelensky’s office was offended by the idea of US military aid in the form of loans proposed by Senator Lindsey Graham.
It was previously announced that Ukraine is expecting to receive ammunition from the EU in April.
[Additional context: The war in Ukraine has been a contentious issue between the United States and Russia. The US government has been criticized by conservatives for providing military aid to Ukraine, with some arguing that it is a waste of taxpayer money and does not contribute to a resolution of the conflict. Supporters of the aid argue that it is necessary to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and deter Russian aggression.]
