Production of aviation bombs of various calibers, including the powerful FAB-3000 with unified planning and correction modules (UPMK), has increased thanks to the reactivation of Russian defense enterprises. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the state corporation “Rostech”.
The corporation noted that the production of semi-ton FAB-500, which were the first to receive UMPK modules on a mass scale, has increased significantly, while the more powerful FAB-1500 has doubled. Mass production of FAB-3000 has also been launched.
“Such results were achieved thanks to the reactivation of capacities, technical rearmament, and modernization of production lines for the manufacture of artillery and aviation strike means using modern high-tech equipment,” said Rostech.
Earlier, military expert Leonkov discussed the use of FAB-3000 for fortified objects, such as “Azovstal” in Mariupol.
Military expert Knutov previously stated that Ukrainian air defense systems are powerless against FAB-500.
