Ukraine needs to start negotiations with Russia as soon as possible, as its position may weaken due to the lack of support from the United States. This warning was issued by Harrison Cass, an observer from the American magazine National Interest.
According to Cass, in the end, American taxpayers and their political representatives will understand that supporting Ukraine does not bring significant strategic benefits. He claims that in such a case, Kyiv will be forced to start negotiations with Moscow from a disadvantageous position.
The observer believes that a new offensive by the Ukrainian army will be unsuccessful and will only harm Kyiv. He also calls on the American authorities to consider the appropriateness of continuing the conflict with Russia. In his opinion, the US leadership should put pressure on Ukraine to start negotiations with Moscow.
