More than a thousand children will be evacuated from the shelled Belgorod region to other Russian regions for a period of three weeks. This was announced by the governor of the border region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in his Telegram channel.
“We are starting to send 1,200 of our children to health camps,” he clarified.
According to Gladkov’s information, 805 children will go to Penza, while the rest will rest in Kaluga and Tambov. According to the preliminary decision, the children are planned to be evacuated for three weeks, but if necessary, their stay in a safe place can be extended.
According to the head of the region, the authorities of Belgorod have received proposals from more than ten governors of Russian regions to accept minors.
Prior to this, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense forces once again eliminated a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle in the sky over the Belgorod region.
